Burlington, Vermont Area Guide

Burlington is a city that has earned national acclaim.  Among the many accolades that have been bestowed upon Burlington are "Best Walking City", "Best City for Families", "Best Small City for The Arts", "Healthiest City", and the "Greenest City".  The Arts & Entertainment Network (A&E) summed it all up by naming Burlington number one on its list of "Top Ten Cities That Have It All".

The region boasts more than 160 retail shops and over 100 restaurants.  There is world famous skiing and snowboarding in the winter and sailing, fishing, boating and diving in the summer, thanks to being on the shores of beautiful Lake Champlain.
