Based on actual incidents, the play tells the story of how, in the late 1890s, a middle-aged man named Louis de Rougemont appeared out of nowhere and became the toast of London with fantastical and adventure-filled tales of being stranded off the coast of Australia. But Louis' actual biography, it turned out, was far different - and much more psychologically fascinating - than he'd led his rapt audience to believe. |

See website for ticket information.
This dynamic, high-spirited, six-member band from Ireland’s County Sligo returns to the Flynn. Dervish “weaves a hypnotic brand of traditional magic, leaving their audience in a state of toe-tapping excitement,” says the Dublin Evening Herald. Lead singer Cathy Jordan sings rollicking ballads in both Gaelic and English, spinning tales of life and love in a rich, evocative voice. Dervish’s songs are interspersed with high-energy reels and jigs on fiddle, flute, accordion, bouzouki, and mandolin.
